Roll crusher

The roll crusher uses two sets of individually driven rollers to crush materials by the squeezing force and shear force generated by the relative rotation. When the material enters the crushing cavity of the crushing machine, the material is subjected to the biting force of the rotating roller, so that the material is forced to pass between the two rollers. At the same time, the material is crushed and sheared by the roller. The small particles along the tangent line of the rotation of the rollers pass through the gap between the two rollers and are thrown below the machine. The large particles that exceed the gap will continue to be broken into small particles and discharged.

The main purpose of the roller crusher

The roller crusher has reliable operation, simple maintenance, low operating cost, and adjustable discharge granularity. According to the number of rollers, it can be divided into two-roll crusher and four-roll crusher, which can be widely used in refractory, cement, metallurgy, chemical, electric power, coal and other industries to process brittle and tough materials. The roller crusher is used for crushing and finely crushing various ores and rocks below medium hardness in industrial sectors such as mineral processing, chemistry, cement, building materials, etc.

Working principle of roller crusher

1.This series of roller mills are mainly composed of rollers, roller supporting bearings, pressing and adjusting devices, and driving devices.

2.Adjustment of the discharging granularity: a wedge or gasket adjustment device is installed between the two rollers, and the top of the wedge device is equipped with an adjustment bolt. When the adjustment bolt pulls the wedge up, the wedge pushes away the movable roller. The fixed wheel, that is, the gap between the two rollers becomes larger, and the discharging particle size becomes larger. When the wedge is downward, the movable roller is under the action of the compression spring and the gap between the two wheels becomes smaller, and the discharging particle size becomes smaller. The shim device adjusts the discharge particle size by increasing or decreasing the number or thickness of the shim. When the shim is increased, the gap between the two rollers becomes larger, and when the shim is reduced, the gap between the two rollers becomes smaller and the output particle size becomes smaller.

3.The driving mechanism is driven by two motors through a V-belt to drive the rollers on the sheaves, and rotate in relative directions. When crushing materials, the materials pass through the rollers from the feed port, and are crushed by rolling, and the crushed products are discharged from under the chassis.

4.For safety, the transmission part should install the safety cover by itself according to the actual situation.
